Sunday worship gatherings

We are excited to meet you! Let us know you’re coming! We will have someone ready to welcome you, answer your questions, and get you connected. As a church we are about people- not a building. Our Gathering time is at 10:30am every Sunday morning at Begich Middle School. Please contact us at brian@northridgeak.org and we can answer any specific questions about our Gathering details.
This place is about who you are, not what you wear. There is no dress code! So come as you are, whether that is in a suit and tie or jeans and a t-shirt!

community group

These missional communities are the primary way we connect with others and live on mission (Acts 2:42). These are smaller groups of 10 to 20 people providing an opportunity to connect with God’s family and grow as disciples. Through these relationships we live life together in everyday rhythms which shows the world around us a true picture of God. Community Groups will meet regularly to eat, worship, learn and pray together on mission- living out the Gospel in real and tangible ways.

Kids Ministry

Northridge Kids meet during the Sunday Gatherings from ages newborn to 5th grade. Our nursery ages 0-24 months, preschool ages 2yrs to 5yrs, and elementary grades K to 5th grade.

Northridge Kids learn about Jesus through interactive, fun, age-appropriate ways using a Bible-base curriculum called, “Hyfi”. This media-rich resource teaches the truths of Scripture in a way that helps preschoolers, kids, and students understand their true identity in Christ. Hyfi utilizes high-quality media, games, and side-by-side learning to foster a fun atmosphere of learning and belonging. Hyfi is tons of fun while remaining faithful to the Bible. Hyfi roots the next generation’s identity in Christ through 12 biblical truths that teach them who they are in Him. Every session provides biblically sound content with a clear picture of Jesus and the gospel.

Grow

As Northridge Kids Ministry we want to walk alongside parents as they disciple their children. One way we do this is parents can utilize the Right Now Media platform. There are child-friendly resources for learning, growth and entertainment! Sign up for your free membership **HERE** as a partner of Northridge Church.

Gather

Life-giving relationships are key to growth and development (at any age!). In each of the kid’s classrooms they can learn to build Godly relationships as they gather together each week. This is done through caring and consistent people that serve and have been screened and trained to create a safe, life-giving environment.

Games

The children in the Bible would not have run to Jesus if he wasn’t fun. Northridge Kids enjoy God and God’s people. Healthy relationships with other kids and volunteers naturally lead to laughter. We want children attending Northridge Kids to have a lot of fun while growing deep roots Biblically.

The Lord is very clear that we, His people are the church- not a building or a Sunday morning service. We all are parts of the body of Christ (the church). We want to build into the body of believers at Northridge a need and calling from God and His Word to serve the church and community (1 Corinthians 12:12-26).
